Multihulls - Catana Group sales up 43%!

Catana Group, worldwide N4 shipyard of the multihull market, has announced a turnover of 26.5 million euros for the first half of 2017-2018 and is in very strong growth.

Multihulls - Catana Group sales up 43%!

This represents a growth of 43% over last year, thanks in particular to the acceleration in sales of the Bali range and the new Catana 53.

The Bali range, created in 2014, has allowed the Catana Group to quadruple its sales of new boats in just four years, to become the world's fourth largest multihull yachtbuilder.

The continued commercial success of the first three models in the range (Bali 4.0, Bali 4.3 and Bali 4.5) and the growth of Catana 53 have enabled the Group to have a strong order book for the current financial year, but also for the next one 2018-2019. The rise in its invoicing of new boats thus reaches a growth of 44%!

Two major innovations are expected in the Bali brand this year: the Bali 4.1, which have been presented for the first time at the International Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte from 18 to 22 April, and the Bali 5.4, unveiled at the Yachting Festival in Cannes next September, because "in the first half of the year, the multihull market has demonstrated its excellent momentum, confirming the relevance of Catana Group's strategic refocusing on this segment of the market for several years", Catana people explain.

Catana Group anticipates a 2017-2018 turnover between 52 and 55 millions euros.
