On the heels of two successful sailboat models launched last year, the Sun Odyssey 440 and 490, the line is now expanding to include a third model: the Sun Odyssey 410. This newest addition is designed by Marc Lombard, a long-standing design partner who draws much of his inspiration from race boats.

This new model features the ultimate in comfort and performance, for a unique experience while under way. The contemporary Sun Odyssey 410 benefits from all the latest technical and technological advances in architecture:

  • a hard chine running the full length of the hull, for a more powerful and stable hull;
  • an inverted bow, for fine entry, better weight distribution and a distinctive look;
  • the bow stands clear of the water, for less drag and greater speed;
  • self-aligning twin rudders, with self-aligning bearings, for an improved feel of the helm;
  • retractable bowthruster, ultra powerful for greater manoeuvrability;
  • cathedral standing rigging,
  • an L-shaped keel,
  • and an integrated bowsprit.

An innovative deck layout

Sailing was never so enjoyable aboard a 41-foot sailboat. With her powerful hull, the Sun Odyssey 410 perfects the art of sailing and comfort on board. The model is particularly secure, featuring sidedecks without obstacles and comfortable coaming.

The walkaround sidedeck slopes directly down to the level of the cockpit! This feature results in incomparable ease of movement on board and makes this line unique in its class.

All is as with her predecessors from the 8th generation, the Sun Odyssey 410 benefits from a lower boom, which facilitates access to the sail and increases the sail area. Centralised winches, which can be controlled directly from the cockpit, also contribute to safety on board.

A new contemporary interior style

A true invitation to relax and enjoy the comfort and general well-being on board, the Sun Odyssey 410 includes all the successful features of the line and offers a new vision of life on board. With clean lines and thoughtful consideration of the distribution of space, the new generation design offers a harmonious, contemporary perspective.

The interior is at once surprising and consistent with the Sun Odyssey line, where innovation serves to heighten the aesthetic and the level of comfort. Designed by Jean-Marc Piaton and his crew, the interior design reveals stunning potential for a sailboat of this size.

The partitions and the distribution of space were designed in a somewhat atypical fashion in order to maximise the interior space, both visually and physically. The eye easily follows the uninterrupted interior lines.

Well-being interior

The warm, inviting saloon is bathed in light, and the arrangement of the seating invites conversation. The central daybed is a key feature in this cosy saloon, perfect for relaxation.

This convertible model offers comfort at sea and at port, and it features exceptional, unequalled storage space. In keeping with the features of the new Sun Odyssey line, the Sun Odyssey 410 benefits from a contemporary central galley. Well equipped, this ultra-functional galley offers multiple zones for storage.

In the owner’s cabin, the sailboat offers a spacious parental suite with a head compartment and a separate shower, as well as a walk-in closet. The berths are wide and comfortable, with large rectangular beds, just like at home!

In the version with one head compartment aft, the forward cabin offers another option to owners, with a private sink and an additional large walk-in closet. The guest cabins also benefit from a harmonious, contemporary layout, whether in the two- or three-cabin version.

The design was carefully considered to enable each guest cabin to include the Premium beds.
