On Sept 19 2019, the new Hugo Boss Imoca 60 set to be raced by British sailor Alex Thomson, was launched and christened on the river Thames, in London, in front of Tower Bridge.

After arriving on his semi-rigid Highfield boat, Alex Thomson boarded his Imoca for a river ride in front of Tower Bridge, before welcoming Poppy Delevingne, British actress and model, the godmother of Hugo Boss 2019 !!

The new Imoca 60 racing yacht has been designed and built in a partnership between the Alex Thomson Racing technical team, led by Pete Hobson, naval architects VPLP, and British boat builder Jason Carrington.
