The last-minute cancellation of the Yachting Festival de Cannes has prompted the French shipyard Catana Group, the world's third largest manufacturer of pleasure catamarans, to bring forward by a few weeks the second edition of its VIP days for the private presentation of its boats, after a first successful day last June.

Last July, the port of Canet en Roussillon saw the Catana Group, builder of the Catana and Bali brands, organize for the very first time, a private show, intended to present part of the Bali range, to its customers and prospects from all over Europe.

These "Rendez-Vous Bali", responded to the strong expectation of the brand's customers, to discover its latest innovations, in a secure context, deconfinement obliges.

Organized over 3 days, these meetings were a great success, allowing to present 3 emblematic models of the shipyard, the Bali Catspace, a 40-foot catamaran offering the largest forward cabins on the market, with double beds facing the sea, the Bali 4. 8, a great novelty of the 2020 multihull market, characterized by its front door allowing to gain in the greatest comfort, the open cockpit saloon, from the forward deck saloon and its layout ranging from 3 to 6 double cabins with en-suite bathrooms, and finally the Bali 5.4, flagship of the range which meets a very big commercial success, with by less 40 units sold, in barely 18 months !

In view of the cancellation of the Cannes Yachting Festival, Catana Group has decided to reissue the Rendez-Vous Bali, instead of the Cannes Yachting Festival, over a period of almost a week, as Boris Compagnon, Sales and Marketing Director of Catana Group, explains on ActuNautique: "The rather special season we are experiencing has shown that the desire and need for boating has never been stronger. Boating has been very popular this summer, which allows people to get together with family and friends in complete safety. The launch of 2 new products at the Yachting Festival - the first afloat for the Catspace and the worldwide launch for the Bali 4.8 - was eagerly awaited by our entire distribution network and by our customers. With the cancellation of the show, we decided to offer them an alternative, the possibility to discover these new products in a safe and privileged environment, with a personalized VIP welcome".

3 models exhibited at Canet en Roussillon, including the 2 new 2020 models.

The Rendez-Vous Bali in September 2020 will see 3 catamarans on display, the Bali Catspace, Bali 4.8 and Bali 5.4, open for private visits by appointment with the brand's dealers. 

Also on the program for these days, the visit to the Catana Group's industrial site in Canet en Roussillon, which in addition to the company's headquarters, hosts the construction of the largest units of the brands Bali and Catana.

A big Scoop for the guests of the shipyard

In addition to the 3 models exhibited, the guests of the Shipyard will be able to know everything about the new Bali 4.2, a new model in the range, whose first deliveries will take place from February, but also about new versions of the existing Bali, but shhh....we didn't say anything !
