Yachting Festival Cannes 2024 - 8 days to go until the show opens

On Tuesday 10 September, the show opens its doors at 10am for 6 exceptional days.

The finest jewels of motor and sailing technology, the latest nautical equipment, the most upmarket services and the brand new marina dedicated to power boats up to 13 metres will all be on display for visitors to enjoy.

"With just a fortnight to go before the show opens, we're really looking forward to seeing our exhibitors and visitors again. We've been setting up the show since August 12, and everything is going smoothly, with the pontoons and tents taking their final positions to accommodate the boats and stands, thanks to the support of our partners and service providers,‘ explains Sylvie Ernoult, Show Director, before adding: ’Like every year, the Cannes Yachting Festival kicks off the season by unveiling a highly eclectic offering. We are proud to welcome nearly 700 boats, including 120 world premieres, and 640 exhibitors. Our visitors will find the cream of the nautical industry, with not only the most famous boatyards and equipment manufacturers, but also newcomers to the industry presenting their creations’.

The show will be organised between the Vieux Port and the Port Canto, with 355 new motor yachts from 12 to 45 metres - monohulls, multihulls, rigid or semi-rigid hulls - afloat, and all the equipment manufacturers and service companies linked to this industry, and on the other side, at the Port Canto, the sailing world with 120 new monohulls and multihulls averaging 16 metres in length, the brokerage sector with forty-five second-hand boats from 25 metres upwards, the nautical toys area and the brand new Power Boat Marina, which will be home to 175 boats under 13 metres.

As boatbuilders and equipment manufacturers slowly but surely set their sights on ecology and devote a significant proportion of their budgets to research and development, the growing number of eco-efficient, environmentally-friendly innovations in the industry will be showcased via the ‘Innovation Route’, identified by dedicated signage to guide visitors.
