What about the structure of a vessel, during a storm ? A video was filmed in June 2008, aboard the Skagen, a 345m container ship of the Maersk company during passage from Suez Canal to Singapore...
This amateur video, filmed from a fix platform on upper and lower decks, shows the stress and effects of strong waves and wind on the vessel : the vessel twists, bends, turns... preventing any structural breakdown !
