The Abeille Bourbon tug and offshore support vessel, is dedicated to assistance, salvage and pollution remediation. She is an emblematic vessel protecting Brittany coastline. She has been filmed by strong sea off Brittany, by French photographer Charles Marion.

Realized on Sunday 29 November, the ship was flown over for nearly... 25 minutes !

As a 27-year-old professional photographer based in Nantes, Charles Marion started two years ago in a project of multiple photo-reports about men and women of the sea.

He embarked alongside sea people during these two years, to bring back series of strong images on the world of Sailing, Trade, Fishing, Rescue at Sea and Navy.

A beautiful book called "La Mer & ses Hommes" has been released in mid-2016, in order to trace images and texts this extraordinary human adventure.

Collaborating regularly with two regional French magazines, Charles Marion also works in events for large companies. He is a member of the collective of photographers Breizhscapes with whom he has released a book "Regards Croisés in Brittany".
