Yachting Festival 2017 - 3 World Novelties for Lagoon Catamarans in Cannes

The Cannes Yachting Festival will open its doors tomorrow. It is an opportunity for the French yard Lagoon (Groupe Bénéteau), world leader in the catamaran yachting market, to present no fewer than 3 entirely new models, Lagoon 40, Lagoon 50 and the highly anticipated Lagoon Seventy 8, a unique catamaran motor yacht...

The dynamism of Lagoon does not weaken and is likely to increase with the years, and the Bordeaux yard that leads the race on the market, will make the news in Cannes, with 3 strategic world previews, 3 novelties presented in the middle of virtually the entire range of Lagoon!

The new Lagoon 40 and Lagoon 50 announce the upcoming evolution in the next few years for the entire core of the yard’s range (boats ranging between 38 to 56 feet), while the Lagoon Seventy 8 presents itself as an – as of today - almost unrivaled motor yacht!

Lagoon 40 and Lagoon 50: 2 “first of rope” leaders

We will discover these two models with great attention because they inaugurate a new - declined on the whole range of boats - purified style by Patrick le Quément. The sail plan is optimized thanks to the expertise of VPLP! Whilst the amenities offer space and comfort in both typical owner or rental versions (up to 4 cabins 4 bathrooms on the 40-foot and 6 cabins 6 bathrooms on the 50-foot!).

The interior of these 2 models inaugurates new wood and linings combining as usual, warmth, beautiful presentation and beautiful finish!

Lagoon Seventy 8

Last year, the Seventy 7 revolutionized sail yachts market by positioning itself as a unique, credible alternative to many superyachts because of its space, its excellent level of finishing (typically CNB) and its innovations, in particular its deployable balcony on sea, located in the owner suite. A first on the multihulls market.

The Seventy 8 is the engine perfection! In other words, this motor yacht is awaited with great anticipation, and attacks the market of superyachts with very convincing arguments: stability, space on board, very high-level finishing, reduced crewed navigation, transatlantic autonomy for an operating cost optimized ...

This model will undoubtedly be one of the great stars of the 40th Yachting Festival; discover it in preview on ActuNautique!
