Delivery of the 100th Leopard 53 Powercat in 3 years

The South African shipyard Robertson and Caine, owned by the Czech investment fund PPF, has just delivered its 100th Leopard 53 Powercat motor catamaran, just three years after its launch.

Leopard Catamarans, specialist in power catamarans over 40 feet, has just delivered its hundredth Leopard 53, a model launched just 3 years ago.

Franck Bauguil, Vice President Boat Sales and Product Development at Leopard Catamarans, tells ActuNautique: "We are delighted to celebrate the delivery of our 100th Leopard 53 Powercat. Since the launch of its first power catamaran in 2002, Leopard Catamarans has continued to develop this market segment, with almost 9 powercat models launched in the last 22 years.

In total, Leopard Catamarans has delivered over 700 power catamaran units to owners on all the world's oceans.

The brand's current range of power catamarans comprises 3 models: 

  • the Leopard 53 Powercat, voted Multihull of the Year, with 100 units delivered since 2020 ;
  • the Leopard 46 Powercat, winner of the tre Best of Boats, with 65 units delivered since 2022; 
  • the Leopard 40 Powercat, voted European Powerboat of the Year, with 25 units delivered since 2023.
