The Japanese manufacturer returns to Amsterdam with an expanded range of outboard motors, driven by the launch of its new V6 and four-cylinder engines. Honda Marine Europe is focusing on growth, technological innovation and strengthened partnerships with European shipyards.

Honda Marine Europe is returning to Metstrade 2025, the major trade event for the nautical industry, held from 18 to 20 November at the RAI in Amsterdam. After a remarkable first appearance in 2024, the European subsidiary of the Japanese group is showcasing its new V6 and four-cylinder outboard engines, symbols of sustained commercial momentum.

On display at stand 07.112, the upgraded version of the BF250 V6 is one of the main new products. This engine, alongside the BF200 and BF225 models, heralds an optimised generation offering more power, energy efficiency and ease of use, while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The four-cylinder range — BF115, BF135 and BF150 — also benefits from similar improvements, consolidating Honda Marine's offering between 2.3 and 350 horsepower.

Metstrade is a strategic moment for the brand. All of its European subsidiaries are mobilised to present a coherent, integrated offering tailored to the needs of manufacturers and end users. Collaborations with European partner shipyards play a central role, enabling the company to offer factory-tested and configured boat-engine packages that meet the growing demand for turnkey solutions in the recreational boating sector.

In a market seeking responsible performance, Honda Marine is pursuing a strategy based on sustainable innovation and technical reliability. These new engines are the result of more than 60 years of research into marine propulsion, combining the pleasure of boating with respect for the environment.

This year, Honda is also introducing a new ’Sporty White" colour across its entire range of high-end models, from V8 to four-cylinder, as well as a range of Pro-Honda oils and lubricants designed to improve engine maintenance and longevity.

With this strengthened presence, Honda Marine Europe is confirming its ambition to consolidate its position among the leaders in marine propulsion, combining innovation, fuel efficiency and industrial partnerships to support the evolution of European boating.
