New Models 2025-2026: The Zeelander 8 makes its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025

Zeelander will unveil its new flagship, the Zeelander 8, a 24-metre yacht, at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, from 24 to 27 September. This model is the largest yacht ever built by the Dutch shipyard.

With its voluptuous lines, classic aesthetics and contemporary approach, the Zeelander 8 stands out for its subtle balance between generous volumes, noble materials, sophisticated details and maximum comfort. It promises to be one of the quietest yachts in its class, with a noise level of less than 65 dBA even at cruising speed (≈ 32 knots). At full power, with more powerful engines, it can reach up to 40 knots.

Founded in 2002 in the Netherlands by Sietse Koopmans, Zeelander Yachts was born out of a simple yet demanding desire: to create the perfect day boat, combining elegance, comfort, silence and sculptural forms.

After five years of research and development, Zeelander launched its first model, the Z44, in 2008, inaugurating a line of yachts designed for aesthetics, refinement and a luxurious sailing experience. In recent years, the brand has expanded its range with models such as the Z55, Z68, Z7, Zeelander 5 and Zeelander 6, while consolidating its reputation as a ‘boutique’ builder capable of producing bespoke units to the highest standards.

Performance, quietness, customisation

One of the Zeelander 8's major assets is its ability to offer a combination of performance and serenity: the yacht is moderately noisy even at full speed, which is a testament to the quality of its finishes, its sound insulation and the excellence of its design.

Each Zeelander hull is made to order, allowing for extensive customisation: choice of materials (leather, woodwork, upholstery), interior layout, finishes, colours, etc. The first model illustrates these bespoke options, which are typical of the manufacturer, who produces few units but each with a high level of detail and customisation.

Interiors and fittings: elegance and functionality

The Zeelander 8 retains the DNA of the brand's smaller models, but allows for prestigious adaptations in this first model.

  • The main deck combines large living spaces with a lounge, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, rearranged according to the owner's choices: the bar has been moved to the rear, while the kitchen is located on the starboard side in this inaugural model.
  • Three cabins on the lower deck offer high-end comfort, including an amidships master cabin with large windows, generous headroom (over 2.10 metres) and exceptional views.
  • Outside, a large targa sunroof, retractable rear doors and a rear platform that opens onto the cockpit allow the environment to be adapted to the climate, open to the sea breeze or closed to protect from the sun or for air conditioning.

A niche but assertive positioning

The Zeelander 8 targets an audience of enthusiasts and connoisseurs who are looking not only for a luxury yacht, but also for a complete experience: aesthetics, comfort, silence, conviviality and prestige. The Dutch manufacturer stands out for its curved shapes, limited production, attention to detail and technical excellence.

This yacht is a strong response to the demand for modern super-cruisers that combine fast sailing, great comfort and a controlled sound environment.
