On 18 September 2025, at the Genoa International Boat Show, Bayliner launched the C21i, an evolution of the C21 model presented earlier this year in Düsseldorf. This new model features a MerCruiser 4.5L engine with 200 to 250 horsepower, offering a variety of performance options with proven reliability.
According to Sylvain Perret, Product Portfolio Manager at Venture Group Europe, the C21i retains the qualities that made the C21 so successful—versatility, comfort, accessibility—while introducing improvements in design, equipment and user experience to meet the demands of both novice and experienced boaters.
Founded in 1957 in the United States by Orin Edson, Bayliner Boats quickly established itself as a benchmark brand in the field of affordable, reliable and family-friendly pleasure boats. In 1986, the brand joined the Brunswick Boat Group, creating significant synergy with increased resources for production, innovation and global distribution. Bayliner, which now has more than 400 dealers in over 60 countries, remains true to its mission: to make boating accessible without sacrificing style or comfort.
Under the Brunswick umbrella, Bayliner also continues to invest in its brand identity with new logos, a modernised visual identity and a redesigned customer journey to make buying and owning a boat simpler and more enjoyable.
With the launch of the C21i, Bayliner not only aims to strengthen its visibility in Europe, but also to meet the growing expectations of boaters in terms of design, comfort, connectivity and modularity. The Genoa Boat Show serves as a springboard for the model's distribution in key European markets: the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and Northern Europe.
