New Models 2025-2026: Bayliner unveils the new C21i at the Genoa International Boat Show

On 18 September 2025, at the Genoa International Boat Show, Bayliner launched the C21i, an evolution of the C21 model presented earlier this year in Düsseldorf. This new model features a MerCruiser 4.5L engine with 200 to 250 horsepower, offering a variety of performance options with proven reliability.

According to Sylvain Perret, Product Portfolio Manager at Venture Group Europe, the C21i retains the qualities that made the C21 so successful—versatility, comfort, accessibility—while introducing improvements in design, equipment and user experience to meet the demands of both novice and experienced boaters.

Founded in 1957 in the United States by Orin Edson, Bayliner Boats quickly established itself as a benchmark brand in the field of affordable, reliable and family-friendly pleasure boats. In 1986, the brand joined the Brunswick Boat Group, creating significant synergy with increased resources for production, innovation and global distribution. Bayliner, which now has more than 400 dealers in over 60 countries, remains true to its mission: to make boating accessible without sacrificing style or comfort.

Under the Brunswick umbrella, Bayliner also continues to invest in its brand identity with new logos, a modernised visual identity and a redesigned customer journey to make buying and owning a boat simpler and more enjoyable.

With the launch of the C21i, Bayliner not only aims to strengthen its visibility in Europe, but also to meet the growing expectations of boaters in terms of design, comfort, connectivity and modularity. The Genoa Boat Show serves as a springboard for the model's distribution in key European markets: the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and Northern Europe.

Advantages of the C21i: modern design, comfort and features

Bayliner has equipped the C21i with features that place this model in the high-end six-metre boat segment:

  • Refined design: a sculpted hull, sporty profile and modern wraparound windscreen give it a strong visual presence.
  • Flowing layout: wide aft passageway, full-width swim platforms for easy access to the sea.
  • Cosy cabin: sleeps two, large side windows that let in plenty of light, optional sliding toilet.
  • XXL foredeck: large relaxation area at the bow, with a central cushion in front of the windscreen for sunbathing or contemplation.
  • Modular seating: flip-flop seat with three settings, can be used to enjoy the view to the front or rear.
  • Storage and comfort on board: under-seat storage, lockable glove box, numerous customisation options (colours, finishes, etc.).
  • Onboard technology: Induction charger for phones, VesselView Link integration, Simrad GO9 screen for navigation and system control.

Performance and technical specifications

Here are the main specifications of the Bayliner C21i:

  • Overall length: 6.39 m
  • Hull length: 6.20 m
  • Beam: 2.54 m
  • Maximum capacity: 7 people
  • Maximum engine power: 250 HP
  • Deadrise: 20°
  • Fuel capacity: 170 L

The C21i offers balanced performance: powerful enough for sporty outings or fast cruising, while maintaining reasonable fuel consumption in this segment, thanks to the work done on the hull, modern equipment and optimised volume.

Market positioning and target uses

With this model, Bayliner is continuing its strategy of offering boats that combine:

  • family use (day cruising, water sports)
  • sporting excursions or watersports
  • uncompromising comfort in terms of ergonomics, storage and on-board technology

The six-metre boat segment is particularly competitive, but the C21i relies on its modern aesthetics, premium features and value for money to attract buyers.
