Wellcraft is expanding its range today with three 28-foot models designed to push the boundaries and cater to a variety of uses: the Wellcraft 28 Speedster, the 28 T-Top, and the 28 Explorer. Founded in 1955 in Sarasota, Florida, by Bill Davis and Ed Crafton, Wellcraft Marine Corporation began with wooden runabouts and small utility boats. In 2014, Wellcraft joined the Beneteau Group through its subsidiary Rec Boat Holdings. This acquisition strengthened its capacity for innovation and international distribution, allowing it to explore new market segments while remaining true to its DNA: performance, robustness and intense marine experience.
