The Award was created in 1989 in memory of Marisa Bellisario, the first Italian woman to cover a top management role. This acknowledgement recognizes every year women who have distinguished themselves in their profession, considering their achievements in management, science, business, and social causes.

Carla Demaria, Monte Carlo Yachts President, received the prestigious award from Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, who wanted to meet winners to personally express his congratulations.
