Unsurprisingly, the new Lagoon 46 takes the codes discovered on the latest models launched by the yard, namely the Lagoon 40 and Lagoon 50, with a very pure design, combining strength and finesse, signed by the French designer Patrick le Quément in association with the naval architecture firm VPLP.
Powerful bows at the beveled top, lateral redan refining the profile (just like the element around the hull windows) and optimizes the interior volume, "suspended" roof top, the Lagoon 46 displays a reassuring, robust with a just about right timelessness that should withstand the outrage of years.
Positioned like a living catamaran, the Lagoon 46 evolves in its vast aft cockpit, with a very protective cap, to close the boat with soft glass, to have a large enclosed space, combining square and cockpit. The access to the sea could not be simpler, with barely 3 steps ...
The feeling of security experienced aboard this catamaran should be confirmed with the 2 very safe lateral accesses to the helm station positioned on the flybridge, many evolutions that could later develop in the rest of the range ...
Question interiors, the Lagoon 46 should capitalize on the upgrading observed in recent years at Lagoon, which favors a soothing interior design, discrete luxury, highlighted by a good quality finish (real and perceived ...). The tones and materials should logically be taken from the Lagoon 40 and 50, themselves inheriting those from the famous Lagoon Seventy 7 and Seventy 8 ...
We will not fail to return very quickly on this novelty in our next editions, especially on its technical characteristics and its sail plan...
