Since its founding in 2000 by Loïc Bonnet, Dream Yacht has established itself as one of the major players in the global yachting industry. Launched in the Seychelles with just six sailboats, the company has gradually expanded its offering across the tropics and Mediterranean seas. Today, with a fleet of more than 800 yachts operating from over 40 destinations in 31 countries, Dream Yacht combines international expansion, nautical expertise and innovative services.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the company is marking an important milestone in its development with the presentation of several initiatives at the Cannes Yachting Festival, designed to open the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The aim is to consolidate its position as a world leader in sailing cruises and yacht charter management, while making yacht ownership more accessible and attractive.
Dream Yacht caters to two types of customers: investors looking to generate a secure return, and sailing enthusiasts who want to sail regularly without the hassle of management. To this end, the company offers two main programmes that have been revised for the new period:
These two options have a dual objective: to offer owners greater security and to improve the accessibility of sailing, both financially and in terms of usage.
Enriched fleet: new models, renovations and exceptional itineraries
For 2025, Dream Yacht is expanding and diversifying its fleet with new models expected: Bali 5.2, Bali 5.8, Bali 4.8, Bali 5.4, Fountaine Pajot 41 and 44, Excess 13, Lagoon 43, 51, 55, 60, as well as the Dufour 48 and 54. These additions aim to offer owners and members a wide, modern range suited to different sailing styles.
At the same time, the Lagoon NEO renovation project highlights a more sustainable approach. The first example is the Lagoon 620, christened ‘Dream Martinique’, which has been completely refurbished to enhance its comfort, incorporate technical and environmental innovations, and enable it to cruise in the Abacos and Corsica. The entire project aims to minimise waste and improve energy efficiency.
Dream Yacht is also offering new cabin itineraries for 2026. Three proposals stand out:
These options enhance the diversity of the offering and allow customers wishing to sail in a ‘cabin’ to access highly sought-after destinations.
Beyond the boats themselves, Dream Yacht focuses on the overall traveller experience. Several measures have been implemented:
These efforts are already proving successful: the Martinique base won a TripAdvisor Award 2025 in recognition of the quality of its service.
The company is confirming its vitality: every year, more than 130,000 customers sail with Dream Yacht. Occupancy rates are rising, with an increase of +6% in the Mediterranean this year and a forecast of +15% in French Polynesia for the next season.
These figures illustrate not only the robustness of a model built a quarter of a century ago, but also Dream Yacht's ability to evolve with travellers' expectations — offering adventure, comfort, modern services and owner options.
Dream Yacht intends to continue its momentum: making yachting not a luxury reserved for the few, but an accessible, responsible and personalised experience. Fleet renewal, flexible owner programmes, expanded itineraries and attention to the customer experience are the pillars of a coherent strategy.
