Just two months after its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Arcadia Yachts confirms its excellent commercial momentum with the sale of the second A80new, a model that redefines the codes of yachting under 24 metres. The contract, signed a few days ago, illustrates the growing appeal of the Italian brand and the strength of its concept: a sailing experience focused on well-being, nature and sustainability.
The yacht will be delivered at the start of next season and based in Ibiza, joining Arcadia's already substantial fleet sailing in the Balearic Islands, a region that has become a real stronghold for owners seeking elegance and serenity.
Founded in 2008 by Ugo Pellegrino, Arcadia Yachts has established a unique philosophy in the world of luxury yachts in just over fifteen years. Located near Sorrento, opposite Capri, the shipyard has built its reputation on a simple but visionary principle: to create boats where luxury lives in harmony with the environment.
From its very first model, the A85, the brand has been a pioneer with contemporary lines, a sharp-angled hull and, above all, integrated solar panels capable of producing up to 5 kW of energy. This combination of avant-garde design, performance and environmental awareness marked a turning point in the world of yachting. Today, Arcadia is recognised as one of the most innovative shipyards in the Mediterranean, renowned for its elegant, understated boats that are deeply connected to nature.
The A80new is very much in line with this tradition. With a length of 23.98 metres and a width of 6.95 metres, this yacht embodies a new generation of cruisers that prioritise energy efficiency and well-being on board.
Its design complies with regulations protecting Posidonia oceanica, a marine plant that is essential to Mediterranean ecosystems. Thanks to this environmental compliance, owners enjoy great freedom of navigation, even in protected areas.
The A80new is equipped with latest-generation solar panels and advanced energy management systems, drastically reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. These solutions complement a philosophy of gentle, contemplative sailing, initiated by the shipyard with the A96new model, launched a few months earlier.
‘The A80new embodies a new form of well-being on board: experiencing the sea at a slower pace, rediscovering the pleasure of sharing and contemplation,’ sums up Ugo Pellegrino, founder of Arcadia Yachts.
Less than two months after its world premiere, the commercial success of the A80new is confirmed: two units sold and a third on order. The second has attracted a new owner, while the third will go to a couple who already own an Arcadia yacht, proof of customer loyalty to the brand.
This double success illustrates the relevance of Arcadia Yachts' positioning, which appeals to both newcomers to the world of yachting and connoisseurs alike. By combining avant-garde design and green innovations, the Italian shipyard meets the expectations of a generation of owners who are sensitive to sustainability, without compromising on refinement or performance.
