Tecnorib announces the order of the 100th PIRELLI 880 Sport. Available also in the “L edition,” this Rib is perfect as a day-cruiser as well as a maxi-tender. The Pirelli 880 can fit both outboard and inboard-outboard engines, and its success is owed to its nautical qualities and immediately recognizable design full of personality.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the 100th order of a model characterized by the union of the charm of a historic brand like Pirelli, famous the world over, and the ability to excite those who drive it, thanks to its excellent performance,” commented Gianni De Bonis, Tecnorib’s Managing Director, adding: “the delivery of number 100 to our exceptional customer will come about during the course of an important international event in 2019. The 880 is a model that conquered owners around the Mediterranean, and then went on to embark for the United States, where it docked in ports ranging all the way to the coasts of California.” The 100th Pirelli 880 was ordered in the Sport edition, and, to celebrate this landmark contract, it will have a special, dedicated livery, to be unveiled only at the very last moment.

The Pirelli 880 offers something to enjoy for a wide variety of consumers, thanks to its great versatility: on one hand, it is the perfect day-cruiser to pass a day at the sea on, alternating between relaxing moments of comfort and exciting sailing at top speeds, and, on the other, it is the ideal boat to use as the maxi-tender for a mega-yacht.

With a length of 8.70 meters and a width of over three meters, the Pirelli 880 is characterized by large sunbathing area and comfortable seating. There are two editions available: the Sports and the L edition. In the L edition, the console houses an additional space which is conceived as a bathroom, but which can also serve as a supplementary stowage space.

There are various engines available, both inboard-outboard and outboard, allowing for a maximum strength of 500 horsepower, with space for a maximum capacity of twelve people.
