The YOT 36, the very first model from Catana Group's new YOT Power Catamarans brand, will be unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

This brand, specifically dedicated to the French shipyard's range of power catamarans, will include both dayboat and motoryacht models.

With the YOT 36, YOT Power Catamarans offers a 36-foot outboard day-boat. This model is positioned opposite the Four-Winns TH36 and Aquila 36 Sport, two bowrider-type units whose deck layout features a central passageway leading to a forward saloon.

The YOT 36 stands out from these two models precisely because of its central console-type deck layout, with 2 side passageways leading to a large sundeck and forward dining area. These 2 side passageways provide easy, safe circulation, with two glazed side bulwarks reinforcing this sense of security while improving protection against wind and sea spray. The generously-sized T-top will protect against both sun and rain, making the boat suitable for all-weather use.

At the stern, the 2 Mercury outboard motors frame a central platform, ideal for getting on board from a pontoon, as a diving platform or for access to the sea.

Although the layout of the cockpit has not been revealed, there's no doubt that it includes a dining/living area, 2 to 3 places for piloting and an outdoor galley.

Logically, each of the 2 hulls will house a cabin and en-suite shower room, making it possible to spend vacations on board, as the YOT 36's 36 feet make it possible to envisage more than just day trips: a vacation in Corsica from the Côte d'Azur will undoubtedly be a much-appreciated must aboard a YOT 36.

Description - Designed by J&J Design, a naval architecture and design firm with a strong reputation in the world of motorboats and yachts, the YOT 36 boasts an elegant, timeless design, far removed from the baroque style of the Aquila. This first model is strategic for the young brand, and will help position it on the market, as a whole range will be produced. A project that Olivier Poncin, recently deceased president of Catana Group, held dear.
