Partnership between Quick Nautical Equipment and Mercury Marine in bow thrusters

Quick Nautical Equipment and Mercury Marine have announced a strategic alliance aimed at improving the manoeuvrability and control of boats. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the integration of cutting-edge technologies for recreational and professional boating.

Technological Integration and Compatibility

From today, Quick Nautical Equipment bow thrusters are officially compatible with Mercury's Joystick Piloting System. Thanks to this integration, boaters will benefit from increased precision and better responsiveness when manoeuvring at low speeds.
Quick Nautical Equipment has developed a communication gateway enabling seamless integration between its Proportional Control System (PCS) and Mercury protocols, thus facilitating thruster control via Mercury joysticks. This update is backward compatible, which means that it can be installed on Quick Nautical Equipment already in place, provided that the PCS is integrated or added.

Historical Expertise in the Service of Innovation

Quick Nautical Equipment is a historic brand of the Quick Group, world leader in the development of advanced systems for yachts and superyachts. Since its inception, the brand has set industry standards and introduced innovations that have become benchmarks in the nautical sector. It is recognised for its advances in reliability and technology, particularly in anchoring systems, water heaters, thrusters, inverters and battery chargers.

Its portfolio of products covers a wide range of marine solutions, with a particular focus on bow thrusters. Among the major innovations, Quick Nautical Equipment was one of the first to offer thrusters with IP68 synchronous motors with an integrated driver, ensuring continuous and proportional operation.

A Strategic Partnership for Better Boat Control

This collaboration with Mercury Marine represents a key step in improving the performance of piloting systems. By integrating Quick Nautical Equipment's advanced thrusters with Mercury's Joystick Piloting System, users will be able to benefit from optimised manoeuvrability, ideal for manoeuvring in confined spaces and docking.

Thanks to a wide choice of compatible thrusters, integration is possible for both boats equipped with a single engine and multiple engines using the Joystick Piloting System. This advance allows boaters to achieve smoother and more precise control, reducing the risk of error during delicate manoeuvres.

This new alliance illustrates the group's desire to integrate cutting-edge technologies, while ensuring a more intuitive and secure navigation experience. By combining the reliability of its equipment and Mercury's technological expertise, Quick Nautical Equipment is strengthening its position in the boating and yachting market.
