The Monaco Yacht Show launches the Tenders & Toys on Quai Antoine Ier

The creation of the Tenders & Toys zone at the 2017 Show is the MYS' response to the yachting industry’s goal to attract a new, younger, superyacht clientele.

Entertainment is one of the leading criteria in the selection of a yacht to buy or charter with the new generation of superyacht enthusiasts. Brokerage companies recognize that one of the criteria of a successful charter experience depends on the diversity of the leisure equipment and water toys available on board.

Located on Quai Antoine Ier, the Tenders & Toys will display fifteen or so tenders on two sites, one on the quay (in the extension of the Dutch HISWA pavilion) and the other on the water (opposite the Car Deck and the Starboard).

Yacht owners, skippers and future clients will be able to choose their tenders from among the variety of products on view in the Tenders & Toys.

A wide range of tenders exists, with different characteristics for different functions - transfer to a marina, beaching on a wilder coastline, a gentle jaunt or a sportier outing – but the trend in the market is towards ever-larger boats offering performance and comfort equivalent to that of superyachts.
