On April 11, 2018, the 2018 Asia Boating Awards Ceremony was held in Singapore at the opening of the Boat Show. This ceremony is jointly organized by the famous magazines Asia Pacific Boating and China Boating.

Created by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines in 2005, the annual Asia Boating Awards are the most renowned yachting awards in Asia and across the world. Presented during a lavish ceremony, the awards serve as a benchmark for the industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

This year’s 14th edition was held on April 11 at ONE°15 Marina, Sentosa Cove, ahead of the Singapore Yacht Show (April 12-15).

One year after the Lagoon Seventy 7 Award at the same location, the Lagoon Seventy 8 has been awarded the "Best Multihull Motor Yachts over 50ft" award, which gives it a significant place in the world of motor yacht .

The jury rewarded the soft and precise lines that give this boat a unique and refined personality.
