For about a year now, there have been rumors on the pontoons about the launch of a brand new 47-foot long-distance catamaran by the mythical Catana shipyard. It is finally a 50-foot model, the Catana Ocean Class, which arrives, to revolutionize the market of high performance units dedicated to circumnavigations, because of a new open concept of saloon-cockpit, upsetting the situation in terms of useful space on board!

Mythical brand if there is one, Catana builds the Rolls of the bluewater catamarans, managing to realize a quadrature of the circle rather astonishing, associating performances, discreet luxury, carrying capacities and safety.

The launch of a brand new Catana is therefore always an event in itself, an event that this year, with the presentation of the Catana Ocean Class, takes a very special turn, as the shipyard has imagined a unique saloon-cockpit concept, which is shaking up the market of high performance ocean-going catamarans because of the habitability offered.

Because let's not go by 4 ways: the new Catana Ocean Class offers in its 50 feet long, the living space of a 58-60 feet, which is not a detail when you live aboard your boat!

Carbon Infusion: lightness and solidity

The result of two years of research carried out by the shipyard's architects, the Catana Ocean Class aims to be a reference of luxury and exception in Grand Voyage units, as light as it is resistant thanks to the mastery of "carbon infusion" technology, used today on all Catana boats.

Equipped with new hulls as well as original daggerboards that have been the subject of particularly advanced hydrodynamic studies, the Catana Ocean Class aims to give full meaning to the pleasure of sailing at wind speed, in absolute comfort and in complete safety.

Sail fast and far... in the greatest comfort

Benefiting from all the Catana's DNA in terms of marine qualities, the Ocean Class goes even further by offering an innovative concept of unique living space on a blue water catamaran of this size.

The open pod allows to offer, thanks to three large sliding bays with full opening, a large living room, saloon, kitchen, navigation, which can be either totally protected or fully open to the outside. The new sleek design with light and warm tones is available in the cabins and bathrooms where comfort rhymes with space and refinement.
