On October 30, 2024, Yuniboat, a pioneer in the eco-circular refit of pleasure boats, welcomed Marina Ferrari, Minister Delegate for the Tourism Economy, for an official visit to its yard in Batz-sur-Mer.

Committed to reducing the environmental impact of the yachting industry, Yuniboat designs and markets reconditioned boats using the “Refit by Yuniboat” eco-circular approach.

This approach involves recovering boats considered to be at the end of their life cycle, then refitting them to put them back on the market, in perfect working order and appearance.

On her visit to Yuniboat, Marina Ferrari was accompanied by Franck Louvrier, Mayor of La Baule-Escoublac and Vice-Chairman for Tourism of Cap Atlantique La Baule-Guérande Agglomération, Nicolas Criaud, Mayor of Guérande and Chairman of Cap Atlantique La Baule-Guérande Agglomération and Marie-Catherine Lehuedé, Mayor of Batz-sur-Mer and Vice-Chairman for Culture of Cap Atlantique La Baule-Guérande Agglomération.

During the meeting, Yuniboat's teams had the opportunity to present their innovative approach to boat reconditioning, based on the principles of the circular economy and incorporating positive-impact technologies.

Beyond the technical aspects, the visit underlined Yuniboat's commitment to a sustainable

sustainable and innovative marine industry.

While the Bénéteau Group is clearly eyeing this market to fill some of its sites, like that of Bénéteau Italia Spa, recently recapitalized to the tune of 5 million euros, Yuniboat also shared its ambition to move into the industrialization stage.

To this end, Yuniboat presented its plan to acquire the Leniphen nautical industrial wasteland in Guérande.

This strategic site will enable Yuniboat to establish the first French industry dedicated to the reconditioning of pleasure boats, integrating a circular and eco-responsible approach. This large-scale project aims to strengthen the local economy while supporting the development of a more environmentally-friendly marine industry.
