Nautitech Catamarans announces the return of Gildas Le Masson as Managing Director, succeeding Yves Baslé, who has headed the shipyard since March 2024 and Gildas Le Masson's departure for Privilège Marine.

With her recognised expertise, strategic vision and knowledge of the shipyard, Gilda Le Masson is taking over the helm of the company with the ambition of continuing its development and strengthening its leadership in the luxury catamaran market.

Already at the helm of Nautitech Catamarans for six outstanding years, Gildas Le Masson has been a key player in the company's growth and innovation. The company has also achieved solid financial profitability, while modernising its production facilities to make them more agile and efficient. These advances have enabled the shipyard to renew its range with the launch of emblematic models such as the Nautitech 44 OPEN, winner of the European Yacht of the Year 2023 award, and the Nautitech 48 OPEN, recently voted European Yacht of the Year 2025.
‘We are absolutely delighted that he is back,’ says Kai Brandes, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bavaria Yachtbau Holding, on Actunautique Yachting Art, ’Gildas Le Masson's return to the management of Nautitech marks a new strategic step for the company. Driven by a clear vision, he is committed to reinforcing the brand's excellence and pursuing its innovation drive, while consolidating its service offering to meet customer expectations ever more effectively.’

Gildas Le Masson continued: ‘I am honoured and excited to be joining Nautitech and helping to build its future. It's a real pleasure to be reunited with a team that is so dear to me, and I'm looking forward to developing our talents in perfect harmony with the company's values.
in perfect harmony with the company's values.

On the occasion of this appointment, Nautitech Catamarans wished to ‘express its gratitude to Yves Baslé, who has managed the company over recent months with rigour and commitment. His involvement has enabled Nautitech to pursue its development with serenity, guaranteeing the continuity of its strategic projects and the stability of its teams.

‘On the one hand, I would like to thank Yves Baslé for stabilising Nautitech in a challenging period and for continuing to write its success story. On the other hand, I am very pleased to welcome Gildas Le Masson and to shape the future of Nautitech together,’ concludes Norbert Leifeld, Managing Director of Bavaria Yachtbau Holding. ‘With this new impetus, Nautitech Catamarans looks to the future with ambition and confidence, ready to continue writing its history by offering ever more daring, high-performance and elegant catamarans’.
