With the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (Australia) fast approaching, CL Yachts has unveiled the CLB65 SUV, a sportier and more functional version of its CLB65 model. Designed for sailing enthusiasts and family activities, this 19.7-metre yacht is part of a development strategy targeting the Australian market.
Previewed ahead of its official launch at Sanctuary Cove, the CLB65 SUV marks a new stage in the evolution of CL Yachts' B series. With a more assertive silhouette and modular configuration, this yacht is designed for family and recreational use, without compromising on the understated elegance that characterises the brand. It is designed for owner operation, with features such as the ZF JMS control system concealed in the wings to facilitate manoeuvring.
With a choice of two engines, either Caterpillar C18 diesel or Volvo Penta D13, the CLB65 SUV can reach a top speed of 30 knots. It complies with RINA or CE Category B certifications, ensuring its compatibility with safe offshore navigation. Its robust hull is designed for a wide range of weather conditions, and gyroscopic or fin stabilisers can be added to improve comfort at anchor.
The interior design, entrusted to London-based studio Supertomato, favours clean lines, natural materials and neutral tones. Two finishes are available: walnut or white oak, to suit the owner's preferences. The interior space is arranged around a large open-plan saloon, which incorporates the galley and aft deck, promoting fluid movement and a convivial life on board. Thanks to a lift-up window and a sliding door, the interior opens directly onto the cockpit, creating continuity with the outdoor spaces.
On board, flexibility is a major asset. A multifunctional area at the rear can be used as a fishing platform, beach club or extra cabin, depending on requirements. Inside, the breakfast area and saloon benefit from large windows, a sunroof and a retractable TV. The accommodation, located on the lower deck, includes a full-beam owner's cabin, a VIP cabin with skylight, and a modular cabin with two convertible beds.
Construction of the first CLB65 SUV will begin in the second quarter of 2025, with delivery scheduled for early 2026.
