Unveiled for the first time in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Santasevera 52 is a contemporary open cruiser with a distinctive design and a practical approach.

The Santasevera 52, designed by Francesco Guida, Italian naval architect and founder of the brand, inaugurates a new line of boats designed to combine generous spaces, dynamic sailing and refined aesthetics. With a length of 15.75 metres and a width of 5.05 metres, this model introduces a personal vision of Mediterranean yachting, combining structured minimalism and functional comfort.

The boat boasts an original silhouette that breaks with classic codes. Its angular lines and deliberately stripped-back design will not appeal to everyone, but they are a testament to its confident positioning. The high hull and massive bow contrast with the neat layout of the stern, where a bathing platform, a sunbathing area, a modular bench and a central table offer multiple configurations depending on the intended use.

Protected by a discreet hardtop, the cockpit remains open to the outside. Three forward-facing seats allow up to three passengers to enjoy cruising speeds of up to 30 knots. The overall design aims to provide a smooth experience, with attention paid to on-board circulation, while maintaining a certain sobriety in the technical choices.

Below deck, the Santasevera 52 offers an interior layout focused on the essentials. The owner's cabin occupies the entire width and has a bathroom with separate shower. A second, more compact aft cabin also has its own bathroom. The finishes favour natural materials, such as oak, and a palette of neutral tones, for a calm atmosphere without any spectacular effects.

This model offers flexibility in terms of motorisation: shaft propulsion, IPS pods or outboard engines are available depending on sailing preferences. This modular approach reflects a desire for adaptability rather than standardisation.

With four units already under construction and a smaller model in the pipeline, Santasevera is positioning itself as a newcomer in the 40-50 foot segment, focusing on a combination of distinctive design and rational use. Built entirely in Italy, the Santasevera 52 is aimed at customers looking for a recognisable boat without necessarily succumbing to immediate visual appeal.

Analysis - The Santasevera 52 does not seek to please everyone, but to offer an alternative in an often standardised world. It is aimed at those who value functionality, customisation and a certain aesthetic simplicity.
