At the end of 2018, Tiwal shipyard launched the new Tiwal 2, an inflatable sailboat designed to be easily embarked on board habitable boats, which has met great success. 

This year Tiwal will present its new Sport version, the Tiwal 2X, from December 7 to 15 at the Nautic 2019, in Paris. 

Initially designed for the market of livable boat owners, the Tiwal 2 has seduced far beyond, paving the way for the Tiwal 2X, its Sport version, which now extends the range.

"We have received a strong demand for a sports rig. Freed from the constraint of winding around the mast at anchor, we have developed a 6 to 4.8 m² arisable sail, still without boom, and more powerful," explains Marion Excoffon, co-founder of the Tiwal site.

Since its launch at the Nautic in Paris at the end of 2018, the Breton company has already delivered 70 units. "Tiwal 2 is the natural complement to the Tiwal range. Even more portability, fast assembly and ease of use! He is already making a significant contribution to the company's growth by opening up new markets, particularly on sailing yachts and cruise catamarans," explains Emmanuel Bertrand, President and Co-Founder of Tiwal. 

The official launch in the United States took place in mid-October at the Annapolis Boat Show. Tiwal 2 was nominated by the American magazine SAIL for the Best Boat Award, and by Sailing World magazine for the Boat of the Year Award. Results mid-December !

The sailboat was by far the smallest boat in the race! Present in the United States to have the boat tested by the juries of these two American magazines, these appointments allowed the founders of the Tiwal shipyard, Marion Excoffon and Emmanuel Bertrand, to benefit from a great spotlight.
