Green Factory - the Arcadia Yachts shipyard strengthens its environmental commitment

One year after installing 612 new solar panels at its production site in the Gulf of Sorrento, Arcadia Yachts has converted approximately 300,000 kWh of solar energy, covering 70% of its energy needs in 2023. This initiative has made it possible to reduce traditional energy consumption by 40%, while injecting 30% of the energy produced into the public grid.

In line with this approach, Arcadia Yachts is working on new technological solutions designed to improve comfort on board and increase the energy self-sufficiency of its yachts. The aim is to optimise energy management through the use of latest-generation photovoltaic panels, high-performance storage systems and advanced electrical load management software.

According to Ugo Pellegrino, director of Arcadia Yachts, the company has always emphasised sustainable innovation. His ambition is to offer energy management solutions integrating artificial intelligence in the long term. This approach is part of an overall vision in which the environmental impact is taken into account right from the production phase of the yachts, thus reinforcing Arcadia's position as a pioneer of ecological transition in the nautical industry.
