Success for the International Showroom Weekend of the Bavaria Yachts shipyard in Giebelstadt

Success for the International Showroom Weekend of the Bavaria Yachts shipyard in Giebelstadt

Boating and sailing - On the first weekend in February, Bavaria Yachts organised an open day at its shipyard in Giebelstadt, near Würzburg, as well as at more than twenty dealerships around the world, for its International Bavaria Yachts Showroom Weekend.

The event attracted a large number of visitors, including more than 200 customers and owners who came to discover the brand's new products. Among the models on display were the new versions of the Bavaria SR35 Open Top and Bavaria Vida motorboats, as well as the new hardtop of the Bavaria C46, presented for the first time to sailing enthusiasts.

An enthusiastic welcome at Bavaria network dealerships

From Saturday 1 February at 10 a.m., the first visitors flocked to Yachten Meltl in Bernau to explore the Bavaria sailing yachts alongside the dealer's team and specialists from Nautic Alliance, experts in chartering and investment in sailing. Other sales outlets, such as Marina Saal an der Donau, Bavaria Norge in Oslo and Evasion in France, also recorded a high turnout.

At the Bavaria Yachts shipyard, some visitors had already had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the production unit on Friday, before the event reached its peak at the weekend, attracting more than 200 guests until Sunday evening. While the focus was on discovering the boats on display, the opportunity to see behind the scenes of the manufacture of the yachts also generated a great deal of enthusiasm.

A new hardtop for more comfortable sailing

For the new season, Bavaria Yachts is introducing an optional hardtop on the C46, C50 and C57 range of yachts. Made of composite material, it incorporates a large canvas sunroof for an unobstructed view of the sails. In case of wind or spray, a fabric front protection provides protection similar to a traditional sprayhood. Once in port, a cockpit canopy equipped with large panoramic windows can be installed, transforming the space into a true living space. Integrated solar panels also help to recharge the boat's batteries.

Developments on the Bavaria Vida and SR35

In terms of motor boats, Bavaria Yachts presented the BAVARIA VIDA for the first time, equipped with a new cockpit and Suzuki engines. Below deck, modifications have been made to the cabin, including a larger berth measuring 2.10 metres long by more than 2 metres wide.

Another innovation concerns the BAVARIA SR35, which is now available in an OPEN TOP version. Unlike the classic hardtop, this new configuration incorporates a lowered bay window, providing a driving sensation under the open sky and offering a more immersive sailing experience.

A successful event that promises more to come!

The CEO of Bavaria Yachts, Michael Müller, praised the success of the event on Actunautique Yachting Art, emphasising the importance of these meetings in a relaxed setting, allowing for exchanges with customers and direct answers to their questions.

On the strength of this success, the German shipyard is already planning to repeat the experience.

However, before organising a new showroom weekend, the brand and its dealer network are now focusing on the spring boat shows, particularly in Tulln, Saint-Malo and Neustadt, as well as on sea trials for their customers in April in Croatia.
