Benetti unveils M/Y Fortitude1, a yacht designed for sharing and style

On the Tuscan coast, the ramp launch of M/Y Fortitude1 recently marked a significant milestone for the Benetti shipyard. More than just a technical milestone, this moment revives a rare Italian naval tradition: the direct entry of the yacht into the water from an inclined ramp. This ceremony, at the crossroads of heritage and expertise, expresses Benetti's commitment to craftsmanship and maritime history.

Built in Viareggio, Fortitude1 is the largest fibreglass model ever designed at this site. With a length of 44 metres, it is part of the Class range, embodying a new, elegant and personalised interpretation. This vessel marks the return of a loyal owner, already a customer of the brand, who has once again placed his trust in Benetti to bring his most precise expectations to life.

The exterior design and interior layout were entrusted to Cassetta Yacht Designers, a long-standing partner of the shipyard. The result is a harmony of clean lines, open spaces and high-end finishes. Every detail has been designed to reflect the owner's spirit, in a style that is both functional and refined.

Inside, natural light is the main feature. Large glass surfaces bathe the spaces in a bright and soothing atmosphere, enhanced by noble materials such as white marble on the main deck floor. The colour palette, dominated by light tones, accentuates the feeling of serenity and comfort.

Among the most popular areas are the panoramic Sky Lounge, the beach club at the rear and the main deck spaces, all designed to encourage relaxation, conviviality and contemplation of the sea. These open areas reflect the owner's desire to experience the sea as a moment of sharing, in a warm and elegant setting.

Outside, Fortitude1 echoes the stylistic codes of the Class range, but with a personal touch. On the upper deck, the large forward sun deck has been custom designed to meet the owner's desire for a private space facing the horizon. The overall proportions of the yacht reflect a search for balance and timeless simplicity.

Now in the final stages of fitting out, Fortitude1 will be delivered in summer 2025. This project once again confirms Benetti's ability to combine traditional craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology and a personalised approach. It illustrates how the Tuscan shipyard responds to its clients' dreams with precision and consistency, offering yachts that are functional, elegant and tailored to their lifestyle at sea.
