The Azimut|Benetti Group, the world's leading superyacht builder for the past 25 years, is strengthening its presence in the Americas with the opening of its new headquarters for the Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Located in the prestigious Pier Sixty-Six Marina, these premises are designed to be true brand ambassadors, illustrating the historic and privileged relationship between the Italian group and the American market.
The United States now accounts for nearly a third of the group's global business, a weight that justifies this location in the heart of the main centre of international nautical culture. Located in an area open to Central and South America, Pier Sixty-Six offers an ideal environment for strengthening ties with owners, partners and industry players. This proximity, considered essential by the management, should enable Azimut|Benetti to further increase its market share by 2026.
This new headquarters is intended to be a place for exchange and representation, designed to welcome customers, architects and enthusiasts in a setting conducive to dialogue and discovery. During the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Benetti will present several models from its fleet, visible from the bay windows overlooking the quays, symbolising the continuity between industrial know-how and maritime lifestyle.
For Marco Valle, CEO of the group, this opening reflects a long-term vision: "Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of America and a strategic hub for our business. These new spaces embody our commitment to this market and offer a privileged meeting place in line with the spirit and values of our brands."
Founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli and now chaired by Giovanna Vitelli, Azimut|Benetti brings together four complementary brands: Azimut, builder of fast, contemporary yachts from 13 to 44 metres; Benetti, the historic benchmark for mega-yachts over 100 metres; Lusben, the Mediterranean refit specialist; and Yachtique, the interior design and decoration consultancy. The group employs more than 2,000 people, operates six shipyards and has 138 sales and service outlets worldwide.
By establishing its American base in such an iconic location, Azimut|Benetti is reaffirming its international expansion strategy based on quality, innovation and sustainability — values that have propelled it to the forefront of the global yachting industry.
