Azimut Yachts makes a big splash in Cannes with several world premieres

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Azimut unveiled four new models that reflect its contemporary vision of nautical luxury. Three models from the Grande range – the 30M, the 36M and the Trideck – feature new interior layouts designed by the m2atelier studio, while the Fly 82, designed by Alberto Mancini and Fabio Fantolino, becomes the new flagship of the Fly series.

The Fly 82 embodies the Italian shipyard's desire to offer a lifestyle closer to the sea. The first model in the Fly range to incorporate the Deck2Deck™ system, it offers a cockpit that opens wide to the rear, transforming the stern into a veritable terrace. Inside, Fantolino has created a cosy atmosphere dominated by soft tones and rounded lines, punctuated with contemporary accents, such as the orange-brown hue that energises the whole.

The Grande 30M, the result of a collaboration between Mancini and m2atelier, introduces the concept of ‘barefoot luxury’, a relaxed lifestyle that prioritises fluidity and authenticity. The purity of its exterior lines is complemented by a unique Rooftop Lounge and a fully walkaround Skydeck, offering unrestricted movement and maximum openness to the sea. Its naval architecture is also innovative, with a carbon fibre construction and a double-chine hull designed by Ausonio, complemented by Rolls Royce propulsion with mtu pods, reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

The interiors of the three Grande models – 30M, 36M and Trideck – are distinguished by the introduction of ‘Feature Walls’, decorative surfaces redesigned as works of art in their own right. The Gradient Wall on the 36M plays with printed and hand-pleated gradients, the Deconstructed Wall on the 30M explores lightness through glass and suspended forms, while the Unveiling Wall on the Trideck combines craftsmanship and precision mechanics to reveal a multimedia space.

By presenting these innovations in Cannes, Azimut confirms its ambition: to combine technical excellence and contemporary aesthetics, while anticipating the expectations of a new generation of owners. With these four world firsts, the shipyard affirms that conviviality and freedom of movement on board are now the hallmarks of a reinvented maritime luxury.
