Numarine becomes the first shipyard to integrate the HP SCA DOUBLE 660 model, a compact, high-efficiency watermaker designed by HP Watermakers, into its series production. This system has already been installed on the first yacht in the 30XP series and will be rolled out across the three units currently under construction.

The Turkish shipyard Numarine has chosen the HP SCA DOUBLE 660 watermaker to equip all the yachts in its 30XP range, which are 30.90 meters long. This partnership with Italian manufacturer HP Watermakers is based on a long-standing collaboration, marked by the reliability of the systems and their ability to adapt to the technical constraints of modern large pleasure craft.

The 30XP series, which currently includes one yacht in service and three others under construction, will benefit from this system capable of producing up to 660 liters of fresh water per hour. In addition to desalinating seawater, the HP SCA DOUBLE 660 can also treat dock water, ensuring flexibility of use that is appreciated on semi-custom cruising yachts such as those built by Numarine.

The result of recent technical development, this model was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Designed to meet growing demands for compactness and performance, the HP SCA DOUBLE 660 is capable of operating for up to 6,000 hours without requiring maintenance, a major advantage for demanding owners and operators of large vessels.

It was precisely this dual capability—high production flow and compact size—that convinced Numarine's engineers. They were looking for a system that could be installed close to the waterline, with low-pressure pumps optimizing seawater intake while preserving technical space on board. The HP SCA DOUBLE system met these requirements while integrating perfectly with the technical configuration of the 30XP.

Numarine thus becomes the first manufacturer to adopt this new-generation technology as standard. This choice demonstrates the shipyard's confidence in the solutions developed by HP Watermakers, which has established itself as a leading partner in the world of onboard desalination.
