Lifestyle - CatanaGroup enters the autonomous floating housing market with SEATY

While the Bénéteau Group has sold its outdoor living division, which manufactured mobile homes, Catana Group is entering this market with a difference: the multi-specialist catamaran manufacturer has decided to offer autonomous floating homes through its new Seaty brand.

The first model offered is 12m long and 6m wide, is classified in category C or D, and can be moved with a small outboard engine. Seaty's promise is above all to enjoy a floating home that is self-sufficient in energy, water, and sewage on inland waters and in protected bays.

Two versions are available: a residential version with two bedrooms, a living room/kitchen, two terraces, and a rooftop; and an office version with a platform, two closed offices, a bathroom, two terraces, and a rooftop.

Built in Portugal by CatanaGroup Portugal, Seaty will be unveiled in a world premiere at the Grand Pavois 2025 boat show in its office version: rental bases around the world and nautical professionals are likely to welcome this offering, given the lack of infrastructure in many marinas.

BoatScopy invites you to discover Seaty with Boris Compagnon, sales and marketing director at CatanaGroup....
