Marex, the Norwegian boatbuilder renowned for its quality and innovation, has announced the upcoming launch of the Marex 390 Scandinavia, scheduled for presentation at the end of 2025. Positioned strategically between the existing Marex 330 and the flagship Marex 440, this new model further expands the brand’s range of Express Cruisers.

Measuring 12 metres in overall length and 3.73 metres in beam, the Marex 390 Scandinavia offers a notably generous width for a vessel in the 39-foot category. This increased beam translates into enhanced on-board comfort and more spacious living areas, positioning the boat as an appealing choice for longer cruising trips and extended stays on the water.

The design of the 390 Scandinavia takes clear inspiration from the Marex 440, particularly in its practicality and attention to detail. Noteworthy features include a side door on the starboard side that provides direct access from the helm station to the side deck, making docking and onboard movement more convenient. Additionally, the model includes a fold-out bow ladder designed to facilitate easy access to the pontoon when moored bow-in.

As is standard with Marex, the build quality and finishing touches are expected to meet high standards. The vessel offers accommodation in two well-appointed cabins, accompanied by two shower rooms, making it well-suited for families or groups seeking both comfort and privacy.

One of the standout features of the 390 Scandinavia is its adaptable cockpit. The seating area can be enclosed quickly using flexible covers that are cleverly stored in dedicated side lockers. Once enclosed, the protected space effectively extends the usable living area, creating the feel of a much larger yacht—comparable in volume to that of a 48-foot model.
