When design meets commitment: with Next, Sunreef sketches out a new way of life at sea

NEXT, a silent acronym for a bold new direction, is much more than just a cosmetic change at Sunreef Yachts.

Launched with the redesign of the Sunreef 80, this signature marks a structural evolution of the range. This breath of innovation now extends to all sailing and motor models. A shipyard in motion, designed to redefine the onboard experience down to the smallest detail. The first visible sign of this transformation is the redesigned exterior layout, which offers more space and modularity.

Living areas such as the flybridge, forward terrace and aft cockpit have been reorganised to offer new circulation patterns and enhanced comfort. The Ocean Lounge, formerly reserved for superyachts, is now a feature shared by the entire fleet. This privileged space, a veritable terrace on the sea, facilitates access to nautical equipment and offers a multitude of possibilities for relaxation at sea.

But the innovation brought by NEXT is not limited to comfort. It also involves a technical transformation. The shipyard is now implementing Solar Skin 3.0 technology, an AI-optimised solar skin integrated into the very structure of the boat. Coupled with a new generation of more efficient and durable batteries, it reduces energy dependence while preserving navigation capabilities.

In addition, Sunreef has decided to abandon the use of natural teak for its decks in favour of alternative eco-friendly materials. This choice marks a break with traditional yachting codes, without compromising on elegance. It is part of a sustainable approach, where design is no longer at the expense of natural resources.

And that's not all. While NEXT has already revolutionised the silhouette and foundations of Sunreef catamarans, the next revelation will concern the interior. A new universe, where art, light and nature will come together to reinvent the onboard experience. More than just a facelift, this interior redesign promises a new style and a reimagined sailing experience, in line with the expectations of a more demanding and conscious generation.
The NEXT revolution is just beginning, and according to our sources, it has many more surprises in store...
