With the 460 GTC, Saxdor is entering the 45 to 50 foot yacht category, expanding its offering beyond the mid-range segment. This model marks an evolution in the brand's design language, with more space on board, increased comfort and all-season usability, while retaining the performance and efficiency characteristic of the shipyard's more compact units.
Based in Finland and already established in Poland, Saxdor produces around 700 boats per year and employs nearly 800 people. This growth accompanies its international development, supported by a distribution network spanning five continents and more than 150 points of sale.
The shipyard's strategy is based on digitalisation and automation. Saxdor has developed Saxdor AI, an intelligent navigation assistant, as well as a virtual showroom where customers can discover and configure models online, illustrating the growing importance of user experience in the nautical industry.
Positioned between the sports ranges and yachts, the Saxdor 460 GTC marks a shift towards higher value-added products and new markets. The Larsmo site, located in a region renowned for its maritime expertise, specialises in large composite constructions and highly integrated systems.
According to Erna Rusi, Managing Director of Saxdor Yachts, demand now comes from customers looking for larger vessels with a longer range. The 460 GTC embodies this evolution, reflecting both a technical advance and the brand's ambition to establish itself in the premium yacht market while maintaining efficiency and cost control.
