The Düsseldorf Boot is the occasion for the Outremer Yachting shipyard to announce the arrival of a new 55-footer, which Stéphane Grimault, the Managing Director of Outremer Yachting, presents to us in this exclusive video in French.

Created more than 35 years ago and based in La Grande-Motte, the Outremer brand produces catamarans designed for ocean cruising, to sail in the greatest comfort and safety. 

Each model being built with the owner, the brand produces each year about 25 boats. The design of the Outremer Yachting range is carried out by VPLP, a firm well known in the world of ocean racing. 

The Outremer range today consists of 3 models, a 45-foot, a 51-foot, the first boat of the new generation Outremer, and a 60-foot. The arrival of a new 55-foot catamaran completes the range and responds to a demand from yachtsmen for more spacious models. 

The sabre daggerboards of Outremer catamarans allow them to benefit from good performance against the wind and do not exceed the height of the roof when raised.
