One year ago, the Prestige X70 innovated in the world of motoryachts, with its concept of a "full beam" main deck, and its sideways deported on the flybridge, allowing to offer a unique habitability on a 70 feet monohull motoryacht. Following the success of this concept, Prestige Yachts is now offering a 60-foot motoryacht...

By deciding to extend the concept of the Prestige X70 to a 60-foot unit, i.e. 18.70m in overall length, the Prestige shipyard is pursuing its strategy of moving upmarket, which consists of offering the service, luxury and functionalities of superyachts on reasonably sized units, requiring a reduced crew, if at all.

The first thing that stands out about the Prestige X60 is the direct filialtion with its elder sister, the Prestige X70, in terms of design and style, signed by Garroni Design, the Vendée shipyard's long-standing partner, which has been able to create a strong identity for the range, easily identifiable and adaptable: inverted windshield, horizontal lines of force, a clever combination of curved and straight lines, a fully integrated flybridge... The Prestige X60 makes a statement and is clearly positioned in the luxury market.

A major difference with the Prestige X70 is that her little sister has a classic port side transom, and therefore a wheelhouse shifted to starboard, and a stairway to the flybridge positioned to starboard: a choice undoubtedly dictated by the fact that the concept of full beam saloon is not very well suited to a 60-foot boat for reasons of style.

This choice of naval architecture allows the Prestige X60 to offer a unique saloon width in the segment, for a surprisingly spacious day area, which should be all the more surprising because of the possibility of opening it widely to the outside through a set of sliding aft and side windows. It should be noted that the helm station has direct access to the foredeck, which is essential and well thought out, despite the removal of the starboard gangway.

Like the Prestige X70, the Prestige X60 is distinguished by a modern, sober interior style, with discreet luxury, designed by Valentina Militerno of Romedis: a fine piece of work...

The flybridge of the Prestige X60 is full width, and constitutes a key outdoor living space, just like the foredeck and its vast salon.

The owner's suite is central and is accessed by a private staircase, a major feature of the Prestige range. It is characterized by an incredible surface for a 60-foot unit, and superyacht functionalities: vast bathroom, dressing room, office....

The guest cabins are positioned at the front of the Prestige X60, which will be accommodated in two cabins, VIP in the tip, and double cabin to port, each with its own bathroom.

The skipper's cabin is located in the stern of the Prestige X60, with an exterior access that guarantees the owner's privacy.

As for performance, the Prestige X60 is rated for 25 knots at top speed and 20 knots at cruising speed, in line with this type of unit.

The Prestige X60 will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September.
