In 2011, the French Bénéteau Group acquired the Montfalcone shipyard from the Slovenian group Seaway (Greenline), in order to have an ultra-modern construction site dedicated to its Monte Carlo Yachts brand.

With the implementation of a new strategy within the Bénéteau Group, expressed through its Let's Go Beyong plan, refocusing its activity on 9 major brands and a yacht size limited to 80 feet, the Montflacone site has de facto become the Group's center of excellence in the construction of large units, i.e. over 60 feet.

Alongside Monte Carlo motoryachts, the Montflacone shipyard has become a multi-brand facility, taking charge of the construction of the Group's large units, whether luxury sailing yachts or motoryachts, sold under the Prestige, Jeanneau and Bénéteau brands, such as the Bénéteau Grand Trawler 62.

With an area of over 45,000 m² facing the Adriatic Sea, a state-of-the-art paint booth and its own and its own marina, Groupe Beneteau Italia currently employs over 200 people. people.

The company plans to continue hiring and training talent to support its growth. In 2021, a new workshop for the production of composite parts was created on site and new employees were hired and then trained in France in Groupe Beneteau's latest composite technologies. Over the past year, the Monfalcone site has successfully built and launched several new models such as the Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 and the Jeanneau Yacht 65.
