Nautism, leasure boating and powerboating - At the Vendée-based Jeanneau motor shipyard (a brand of the Bénéteau Group, the world's number two in the nautical and pleasure boating sector), in addition to the 2 major new models for the 2023-2024 season, namely the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1295 Coupé and the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 Sport Serie 2, the novelty in the Cap-Camarat open range consists of an upgrade for the two largest boats on the market, the Jeanneau Cap-Camarat 10. 5 WA and Jeanneau Cap-Camarat 12.5 WA.
Responding to a strong trend from the United States, the Vendée-based shipyard is now offering an optional ‘integral windscreen’ line, consisting of front and side windows up to the T-top.
The effect is clearly superb, all the more so because the glass is tinted green, echoing a concept favoured by the major American brands of open-top bodywork.
In terms of style, the pillars and uprights are in satin black, which also highlights the brand logo: the effect of the move upmarket is striking.
Each model with this option will feature a ventilation system with an opening window or integrated air vents. Behind the windscreen, the driver and co-drivers will be able to feel the sea breeze and be as close as possible to the elements, while being well protected.
Other styling changes include the exterior kitchen doors, which are white for greater clarity, the seat shells, which now feature a chrome brand logo, and the handrails, which are now black.
Last but not least, a new oak sand finish brightens up the interior spaces, bringing light and warmth. It will be used throughout the Cap Camarat Walk Around and Center Console ranges from September 2024.
