We're hearing more and more about sustainable boating, because the marine sector is one of the most innovative when it comes to finding new solutions for combining activities at sea with environmental protection.

One Concept Marine's brand new Meltem pontoon is a revolution in the port infrastructure sector.

Equipped with solar panels producing up to 15kWh per day, water recovery and storage systems and devices designed to promote marine biodiversity, this multifunctional mooring pontoon was launched on 22 July in the port of Saint-Tropez and will be officially inaugurated on 24 September.

One Concept Marine is a French company based in the South of France that specialises in the sustainable transition of marinas, lakes and rivers. The company, founded in 2021, also offers its services to marinas as part of a more global approach, providing advice and engineering to help them make the transition to a more sustainable harbour environment.

Through this project, One Concept Marine is contributing to the energy autonomy and sustainability of marinas in France. The Meltem pontoon represents a new step towards a port environment that addresses ecological, energy, economic and climate issues by optimising the use of natural resources and showing greater respect for the environment.
