The Rim Drive RD160, a 160 kgf thruster, is distinguished by the absence of gears, which allows for quieter operation and reduces mechanical maintenance.
Vetus also offers the E-LINE, a 48V electric propulsion system designed for conversion projects or new builds. This engine aims to optimise navigation by reducing noise and emissions, while improving responsiveness thanks to its active electronic braking, which allows for quick stopping without a clutch or gearbox.
Maxwell, a partner brand of Vetus, is showcasing several products designed for large vessels, including the Superyacht 26 (SY26) and the RCV4500. These systems are designed to meet the specific needs of the superyacht sector, with an emphasis on reliability and durability. The Windlass range offers solutions adapted to different anchoring configurations.
This year, Vetus is offering an engine control simulator and a live demonstration of its Dual BOW Pro, allowing professionals to evaluate the performance of its equipment.
Finally, the collaboration with Mastry Engine Center aims to offer factory-installed thrusters, integrated from the construction stage and accompanied by a three-year warranty.
