An innovative project from Ras Al Khaimah
The ULTIMA 55 was launched on 11 February 2025 at the Ras Al Khaimah shipyard. After leaving the workshop, it immediately began a series of test sailings in the Arabian Gulf. This unit is the first model produced in the new factory, which was inaugurated in March 2024.
The Sunreef ULTIMA 55 is part of an innovative range of catamarans, designed to combine the dynamics of monohulls with the stability of multihulls. The architecture of these boats has been designed to maximise performance and improve manoeuvrability, guaranteeing a smooth and safe sailing experience, even in demanding conditions. In fact, this range constitutes a viable alternative to monohull motor yachts.
Sunreef Yachts' presence in the region is recent but ambitious. In 2022, the Polish manufacturer inaugurated a 65,000 m² shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City. This modern infrastructure incorporates cutting-edge technologies to produce environmentally friendly and high-performance catamarans.
The official inauguration of the site took place on 4 March 2024, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, as well as Lech Wałęsa, former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize winner.
With the presentation of the ULTIMA 55 in Dubai, Sunreef Yachts intends to strengthen its visibility in the Middle Eastern market and respond to a growing demand for sustainable and high-performance yachts. This launch marks an important step in the international development of the brand, which aims to become a major player in eco-responsible nautical construction.
So much so that Sunreef Yachts is currently developing other models in the Sunreef Ultima range, with 6 motor catamaran yachts, the Sunreef Ultima 44, Sunreef Ultima 55, Sunreef Ultima 66, Sunreef Ultima 77, Sunreef Ultima 88 and Sunreef Ultima 111!
