The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) 2024, which has just closed its doors, will undoubtedly have been a consecration for Sunreef Yachts, world leader in the semi-custom luxury catamaran market, which exhibited its Sunreef Eco range.
The Sunreef 80 Eco, the first electric luxury catamaran on the market, was the most visited and filmed yacht of the event, while at the same time the Polish shipyard inaugurated its brand new Dubai production site, located in Ras Al Khaimah.
Sunreef Yachts, a Polish shipyard strongly committed to sustainable and more responsible yachting, presented its electric catamarans at the DIBS 2024.
For five days, the 'Athena Too', a Sunreef 80 Power Eco, and the ''Marie Joseph'', a Sunreef 80 Eco (an award-winning yacht) were on show, attracting a great deal of interest.Indeed, the Eco range yachts were very popular throughout the 30th Dubai International Boat Show, attracting also the attention of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, who personally visited the Sunreef catamarans on this occasion.
Sunreef's success at DIBS demonstrated the shared interest of the shipyard and its customers in more environmentally-friendly yachting. But it was also an opportunity for the company to organise two VIP events aboard the Sunreef 80 Eco Marie Joseph, designed to showcase the expertise of the shipyard, which is constantly seeking new ways to make yachting more innovative, sustainable and a personalised experience.
The Sunreef Yachts team was also invited to participate in the Middle East Leisure Yachting conference, and took part in the "Riding the Green Wave" panel discussion.
At the same time, Sunreef Yachts has established itself as a major yachting player in Dubai by announcing the opening of its brand new shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah, one of the largest and most modern yacht building facilities in Dubai.
