On February 12th, the Commercial Court of Bordeaux validated the takeover of the RM Fora Marine shipyard by the Grand Large Yachting group.

Founded in 2003 by Xavier Desmarest and Stéphan Constance, Grand Large Yachting is the fourth largest French yacht builder. Over the years, the group has taken over and developed 4 emblematic yachting brands (Allures Yachting, Garcia Yachts, Outremer, Gunboat) as well as a professional brand, Alumarine. 

Stephan Constance, President of the Grand Large Yachting Group, declared on the occasion of the takeover of RM Fora Marine: "We are very happy and enthusiastic that RM is joining the group. RM is a unique yachting brand in France, with strong assets, original technology and a culture of innovation. The RM1180's Sailboat of the Year award for 2020 is clear proof of this. Our ambition is to continue to work around the "RM DNA" and to capitalize on 30 years of history, bringing our know-how in terms of production and international sales. »
