Video - 14 minute private walkthrough of the new Hallberg-Rassy 40C

Yachting Art met Magnus Rassy, president of the Hallberg-Rassy shipyard, to present the brand new Hallberg-Rassy 40C, the latest model from the Swedish shipyard.

The Hallberg-Rassy 40C comes to replace in the range the Hallberg-Rassy 40, released in 2002. Comfortable and easy to manoeuvre, the Hallberg-Rassy 40C is organized around a central cockpit.

The central cockpit and the wrap-around windshield, typical of the yachts of the Swedish brand Hallberg-Rassy, provide good protection when sailing. Directly from the helm station, the pilot has access to the furling mast controls and winches.

The interior of the boat is equipped with a lounge area, with a table and an L-shaped bench seat for up to 7 people, and an L-shaped galley, surprisingly large for a 40-footer, with sink, storage space, refrigerator and freezer.

The engine, located against the owner's cabin at the stern, has been turned 180°, allowing a significant saving of space inside. The spacious owner's cabin is equipped with a double bed and benefits from a beautiful luminosity.

The forward cabin, with double bed and bathroom, is also equipped with a porthole to provide more light. The bathroom (sink/toilet / shower) is also equipped with a washing machine.
