Nimbus Group AB (publ) has signed a new distribution agreement with ACY Yachts to sell Nimbus brand boats in Texas and the Caribbean.

ACY Yachts, headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, is a leading yacht dealer with over 40 years of marine expertise and innovative yacht ownership strategies.

A subsidiary of the Fountaine Pajot Group, ACY Yachts specializes in retail sales and charter services in several key yachting markets in the United States and the Caribbean.

This new dealer appointment grants ACY Yachts exclusive rights to retail Nimbus boats along the Texas coast, as well as in the USA and the British Virgin Islands.

ACY Yachts will also sell Nimbus boats through its charter programs, which operate under the name Waypoints. Waypoints offers a full charter service in Maryland, Florida, the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

For Nimbus, this distribution agreement comes at a time when the Swedish group has decided to close its Finnish Bella Boats factories, which also produce Aquadors and Flippers, due to weak demand in the small motorboat market, raising doubts about the continuity of these brands, despite unsubstantiated denials.
