The Bénéteau Group, world leader in the recreational catamaran market with its Lagoon brand, has just unveiled the first photos of the Excess 12, which with the Excess 15 is the first model of its new brand. A New brand created to consolidate its leadership on the catamaran market. 

The coming Cannes Yachting Festival will be the opportunity for Excess Catamarans, to unveil the Excess 12 and Excess 15, the two first models of a complete range under development. 

Positioned on sportsmanship and hedonism, this new brand targets the thirties wishing to share the pleasure of sailing with family or friends, aboard a catamaran with a strong look, and enjoy to find twin helm stations that offer a perfect view of the sea. 

No flybridge on an Excess Catamarans, but a lowered boom - for easy mainsail maneuvers - a front trampoline, and a sharpened design, including the coachroof line and subtle profile hulls.

Second model of the future range between the coming Excess 11 and Excess 13, the Excess 12 will for the moment be the access model to the Excess Catamarans range, a range whose originality will be to offer prices ready to sail, and not a boat to complete to be able to sail.

The layout of the Excess 12 offers 3 variations, between a version 3 cabins 2 bathrooms, a version 4 cabins 2 bathrooms, and finally a version 4 cabins 4 bathrooms which should make the happiness of charter companies.

Like the rest of the Excess Catamarans range, the Excess 12 will be offered in 2 types of rigging: standard rigging with 82m2 of sail area, and performance version (Pulse Line by Excess Catamarans) with 87m2 of sail area.
